PvP events
Two kinds of PvP event. Both are free to join, give prizes by in-game mail, and follow the same fair play rules.
Free-for-all (FFA)
A free-for-all on one map at a set time. Every player kill there counts toward the standings.
Free, just for being there
Free Puppet Protector
Everyone on the event map gets a free ZXPH PvP Event Prot puppet stack. It is used before your own puppets when you die, and disappears when you leave the map or log out. Got nothing because you were already there when it opened? Leave the map and come back.
ZXPH Watsonya
An event shop on the map while the event runs: potions, Exoneration and Iron Vindication packs, Tiger and Turtle Ice, all for gold.
Parties are off, by the system
On the event's map while the event runs, the game breaks up any party and refuses invites and requests to join. You don't have to leave your party yourself.
Last Man Standing (LMS)
An arena (Taiji Peak or Duel Stage), several matches, 3 lives each. Every match has one winner.
The final ranking
Final 1st, 2nd and 3rd are the match winners, ranked by their kills in the match they won. A player counts once, with their best match win. A tie goes to whoever won first.
Class and level events
An event can be for certain classes and levels only, like "LMS (Lupin + Modo, Lv 120-150)" or a class against the same class. The announcement and the Envoy say which. Anyone else who enters the arena watches as a spectator for the whole event.
Spawn protection
When you enter the arena and every time you revive, you get Raja for 4 seconds: nobody can hurt you. It ends at once when you attack or use a skill.
Spectators
Invisible and faster than normal. Nobody can hit you, and you can't attack, use skills or items. To leave the arena, talk to a Teleport or go to character selection.
Joining late
The Envoy comes back in every break. New players can only join in a break; the next match waits for anyone still lying dead.
Announcements
Double, Triple and Quadra Kill, Monster Kill at 5 in a row, ended streaks, who is out and how many are left, every match winner and the final ranking.
When it ends
Everyone in the arena is sent back to Wildland Sanctuary, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd get their rewards by in-game mail. Log out or disconnect inside an arena and you log back in at Wildland Sanctuary.
Free, just for being there
Free Puppet Protector
The same free ZXPH PvP Event Prot puppets as in FFA events, in both arenas. They disappear when you leave the arena.
ZXPH Watsonya
Her PvP shop stands in the middle of each arena: potions, Exoneration and Iron Vindication packs, Tiger and Turtle Ice, for gold.
Parties are off, by the system
In both arenas, always, the game breaks up any party and refuses invites and requests to join. You don't have to leave your party yourself.
Both events
Who you fight is up to you
Not attacking someone is a choice, and a fair one: players pick their own fights, and GMs don't step in. Where an event type has no parties (FFA and Last Man Standing), the system turns them off, so teaming up as a party isn't possible there.
Prizes come by in-game mail
Usually a few minutes after the event ends. The rewards are on each event's page and in its announcements.
No prize yet? A kill was flagged
If a kill in the event broke a fair play rule (below), the prizes wait. A GM checks the event and decides whether they go out, and to whom, from the fair standings. You don't need to do anything; ask a GM on Discord if you want to know more.
Fair play: these kills don't count
They still show in the kill list, but they are left out of the standings and the prizes, and the event's prizes wait for a GM to check it.
Questions
In game: press Ctrl + ~ for the Event Standings window, with the top 5, your rank and the time left. It updates by itself while the event runs. And here on the Events page, live, with recent kills and kill streaks.
Yes. One connection, one fighter at a time: fight with one character, log out, fight with another. You just can't have two characters from the same connection fighting at the same time.
Message a GM on Discord and tell us who plays from your connection. Once a GM has marked your connection as a verified household or café, you can fight in the same event at the same time. Open Discord →
Usually it arrives a few minutes after the event ends. If a kill broke a fair play rule, the prizes wait for a GM to check the event, then go out from the fair standings. You don't need to do anything.
Yes, in a break between matches: the LMS Envoy comes back to Wildland Sanctuary then. You play from the next match on.
Yes, as a spectator: you can watch the whole event, but you can't fight or be hit. Only the classes and levels in the event's name fight.
In Wildland Sanctuary. Talk to the Envoy in the next break to go back in.
Not that match. Everyone has 3 lives again in the next one, and winning any match puts you in the final ranking.
Yes. Choosing who to fight is part of the game. What isn't possible is a party: the system turns them off. Kills arranged between your own characters or from the same connection break the fair play rules and don't count.
